I think the last time someone tried to make a PvP forum off the official AO site it was blown to hell by script kiddies in a matter of hours. And I think it was also running phpBB :O

Script kiddies are basically stupid 10 year old people who download exploits and other malicious software written by true hackers and crackers from the internet, without knowing how they work, just that they work, and then use it for whatever malicious purpose their stupid tiny brain can think off.

Well, it was a set of forums only for PvP discussion.
So. If you do decide to set up a PvP forum and advertise it on the funcom one, you might want to make sure your phpBB code is up to date.
