AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

I for one don't like the new Skill window nor the new planet map..
Don't get me wrong here tho. They are great in their own ways.. IF we could choose which version we would want to have
I would love to have an option that decides if I want to use the new or the old interfaces.
Also!! For heavens sake!! Zoom on scrollbutton should be possible to disable!
Just my creds

With each new patch or expansion there will always be something new that we'll all need to grow accusomed to
I'm not certain if it's still a possibility; but, a GM used to be able to talk you through to reverting back to the previous patch
if you are experiencing technical difficulties due to the latest patch.
I do know to kill the effects of the mouse scroll, the commands are as follows
F10 - GUI - Misc - Mouse scroll wheel over world - No effect
MMORPG's are designed to grow and adapt. While I agree some player input and options would be nice, sometimes you just have to grow with the game

I wondered about that one as well in the beginning... like where's my info now? I agree some things should remain selectable, to a certain point. As a really general example, the IP-Distribution window in AO is more likely welcome as "forced change" then what Nvidia does with their latest patches, where you are forced to use a new super-clicky-colored interface that just because of that increases the filesize of the installation of the patch-file to the double amount. And it kind of sucks too

- the old selection still works, but oh a line says "this mode is not supported anymore and will not get any of the new features".
But that's just a really general example...

to see your IPR you have to click the little i in the upper left corner.
it's still lame tho :/

I've tried the little 'i' in the corner, it allows me to proform a skill reset, but doesn't tell me how many I have...

Luckily, I know exactly how many I had

It's not difficult to remember a number below 10

The new feature I hate the most is the changing of the camera with the mouse button. Sometimes when I'm fighting I end up clicking the screen instead of the mob and find myself facing downward. Not good for PvP, especially when you haven't saved in a while, and even worse in raids when your doc is trying to fix his/her camera angle.
If anyone knows how to disable this option, please tell me.

As far as I know, there is no way to switch this function off...
I've played with it for a while now & I've decided I realy don't like the new GUI, specificaly the stupid great skills box, the old one was designed so you could see past it easily, I'd LOVE for a way to manualy switch it back...
I'd also like there to be the option to close the skills window, lft window, research window with escape... not being able to do this is REALY anoying, & again as Moonbat said, not condusive to staying alive in an emergency...!
