The faction formula simplifies to

% SK gained = Faction / 500
Or
SK multiplier = Faction / 50000

After fielding a number of comments regarding unredeemed/redeemed needing guardian faction for SK, that section was revamped to make it easier to understand.

There is an additional complication for players who have reached level 200. The amount of Shadow Knowledge (SK) that you will receive for killing a creature will be affected by how much faction you have. Clan, Omni-Tek and Neutral players' SK gain will be affected by their Redeemed, Unredeemed, and Guardian faction score.

The game basically offers one type of faction per side, (Faction alignment) that will dictate the amount of SK you get per kill.

• If you're Omni you want to max Unredeemed
• If You're Clan you want to max Redeemed
• If You're Neutral you want to max Guardian
