AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

Neutrality vs Raidbots

Post by Sayde » Fri Nov 11, 2005 6:34 am

Neutrality on RK1

7.88% of the total population
3.52% of the TL6+ population

Disliked by clan raid bots, tolerated by omni raid bots, not strong enough to compete on their own.

This is neutral life on RK1.
How's neutral life on RK2?

Where do you think neutrals should fit in?

(not trying to stir up argument or debate, just looking for common opinion)
The Quality of people in the Neutral community make it worth not having Tier3.

Actually there are more neutral members on clan bots as omni ones. With possible exception on Tara...clans just don't wish to kill their own.

More neuts in clan than omni?

Wow, I must've missed something. I haven't done APF via apfbot (only do org apf raids or none at all) in a long time, so if they've changed something and allow neuts in now then thats surprising. Tnet doesn't allow neuts in for PvP either, so those are the 2 main bots that dont. I have no Pande experience because I'm a lazy gimp who loves to be on screwing around and having fun with org m8's instead of farming points on a stupid bot for loot, so I wouldn't know what goes on for Pande loot for neuts.

Clanners complain that neuts support omni and I dont understand why. Clans dont let neuts in their bots in the first place, so they really have no other alternative (except, well, be neutral :P ). For the PvP neut though, they have to join Omni bots to help.

On rk2 I believe it is similar to rk1, except neuts might be more allowed in apfbot. I dont know for sure though since I dont have a neut rk2 char past lvl 30 heh.

Yo sayde. What's cookin?

My opinion on this is rather simple : We have a very small, friendly community. Noots help each other, and that's pretty much a given. While i may not be high enough level for any kind of raiding ( but i guess when i start approcahing my 150s, things are going to be slightly more interesting then ) i had heard back in the days of the inerent problems of the camelot dungeon, and the looting policies and all.
.

I still say we should organise that big noot guild meeting we were discussing on the voice.... i think this could be something that we, as neutrals should discuss .
