Community - AOU & Recipebot Partnership

Today AOU has welcomed Beaexn to the AOU team. Beaexn is the person responsible for Recipebot.

Recipebot is an ingame bot you can use to look up tradeskill processes, guides, etc. With our new partnership, we are hoping to create condensed versions of all our guides on AOU that Recipebot is missing. All those condensed guides that Recipebot will then show you in your ingame windows will link to the full guide here on our website.

We are really excited about what our partnership will allow us to achive. So, please all give Beaexn a very warm welcome!!

Does this mean that Recipebot will get upgraded with all the new combines possible? There's a lot of stuff that Recipebot doesn't identify these days since the TS process is more recent.

Certainly does, all the tradeskills available on AOU will be condensed and entered into Recipebot. Beaexn is currently working on an interface for the AOU team to use so that we can help move things along a bit.

Obviously, if Recipebot has a combine that AOU doesnt have then this process will work in the opposite direction too.. so we can update our guides section.

All in all, a very big amount of work is going to get started on.. so if anyone feels like dedicating some time to it with us and joining the team... now is a really good time to sign up!!
