As an alternative to getting your hands on some CRU, why not do one of these missions for one. There is an NPC for each faction who will give you a chance to get a 25% CRU if you do a mission for him/her. You can only do one mission per 20 hours.Faction: All Factions

Note: The CRU is NODROP and Unique so you can't trade it, and repeating the mission will only give you a new CRU if you've spent the previous one.

Clan - Iratius KaiserLocation:

If you are Clan, you need to head over to Tir and meet Iratius Kaiser. He is standing next to the Whom-pahs and is fairly easy to find.

He'll tell you about the Unicorn problem. In short, he wants you to take on one of the Unicorn Company's squad leaders who he has tracked down. The location of the mission is random. Even though he says to leave no witnesses you don't have to kill everything in the mission, but it is a good idea to to ensure that you definitely get your mission token. After you have killed the unicorn, have your token in your inventory and got a mission update, head back to Iratius Kaiser. Trade Iratius a mission token, and he will give you the 25% CRU. (Note: The mission token does not have to be from this mission, but the time it could take you to do a second mission to pick up the token is likely to take you longer.)

Omni-Tek employees should visit Omni-1 Entertainment and find City Administrator Rex Chapman who is located between two billboards near the east gate.

He'll tell you about the threat from the clans. In short, he wants you to take on one of the rebellion leaders who he has tracked down. The location of the mission is random. Even though he says to leave no witnesses you don't have to kill everything in the mission, but it is a good idea to to ensure that you definitely get your mission token. After you have killed the rebellion leader, have your token in your inventory and got a mission update, head back to Rex Chapman. Trade Rex a mission token, and he will give you the 25% CRU. (Note: The mission token does not have to be from this mission, but the time it could take you to do a second mission to pick up the token is likely to take you longer.)

Neutrals can meet up with Sprysi D'Lere in Newland City. She is standing next to a tree close to the Whom-pahs.
Sprysi D'Lere
She'll tell you about the threat from fellow neutrals who are criminals. In short, she wants you to take on one of the criminals who she has tracked down. The location of the mission you will recieve is random. Unlike the sided missions mentioned above, you don't get a token for this mission. Instead you have to loot a Sealed Equipment Crate from the criminal's corpse and return that. This also means you don't have to clear the entire mission, although you can if you want to.
