I was on earlier, took a few hours break and now cannot login
I may not be able to post on the Official forums, but I can read any announcement, and I did not see any,
is there a restart time I'm unaware of ?

okay . . just weird I can log into my account but not the game,

specially when I was logged in the game just a couple hours earlier

when I login, I get a popup to try username and PW again

strange . . . I can log into the testlive server but not the Live server

just adding that, something of a Update of this strange login issue

just a update.
I removed the username (That this problem started with) from the login , and now I can log into my other accounts

Try again with the original problem account, if you still can't log in with it, put in a petition and just tell the GM you can't log in, give him the account name and ask if any of the characters on it are showing as online, if so, get him to do a force kick. Then just wait a couple of mins and log in...

yes I already have a ticket on it,
I haven't done the second steps they asked on the last reply, yet .. seem over board and really didn't feel like that would have fixed the problem. but it would had been a process of elimination. I didn't think it was a connection, but that was the process they were having me check.

now that you mentioned in your reply, it does resemble that , I will mention it to them

on another note same thing .. I'm still in the process of deleting extra characters (last time I was playing, had characters on all 3 servers) I was dual logging into another account and it happened again, but I closed and logged into another and the problem did not happen.

thanks for mentioning that, may save me some later headaches

Yeah... When you're invariably asked to delete your prefs file, I'd personally just rename it...

well just a update, because I just found the problem

oh, and the ticket help was not much help at all.

It's been months since

but just before I was to shut things down for the night I was on the old computer I used when creating the account . . and a thought accrued to me, I had one bad key, maybe that key never was registered, and my password is actually smaller .. so I did the password, without that one key being used . . and TaDAaaa . . I now can log in . . a little late, guess one can't have too many froob accounts
