The thing about appartments is that there's an items maximum...
I'll be damned if I know what it is now, but it's something like 15/20/25 items, anything after that dissapears, so test it with crap items before you put anything nice in it...

It used to be 10 items, but I seem to recall it being bumped up to 30. Not sure if that changed at all when they added Jobe and Sunrise Station apartments or if the number was applied to those as well. I can't imagine it being the best thing for them to have a database full of apartments and items that most people never bother to go in to. The anniversary action figures take up almost half of that number as it is if you're setting up little mini pvp matches.. not that I've done that

I think the amount of items is less, because I placed 2 paintings, the leet hanging thingy , caged rollerrat, and one full set of action figures, came back the next day, and all the action figures were gone
or I was robbed
curious thought tho, on that account I have another character that has an apartment with all the items but his is still there, so maybe it's limited number of items per account and not per character

, or (just a way outside of left field guess) per client

Anything you have an attachment to or a desire to keep, don't put in an apartment, especially not RK apartments. I have stuff in my Jobe apartment that's been there for years and years (tiny Christmas tree farm on the balcony) and then things I placed last year that has gone poof, and things I placed after, that are still there.
If it is something you can replace, go for it, if not and you'd hate to lose it, don't take the risk.

What about items in our cities? Everytime i try to place ANYTHING i get the max number of items reached message!
I wanted to place a refrigerator by the pool, and it was gone in sixty seconds!

Not 100% sure, but I was under the impression that the only place you can actually store items in permanently is the HQ.

HQ and appartments, that's it for permanent storage...
