BEFORE you started playing AO!

I wish someone had told me to read the story!! Honestly, I started playing just because someone suggested I play - it was a nice break from Tomb Raider at the time and my first MMORPG.. I had no idea what I was getting into *grins*

I wish someone had explained to me about implants... and how they were completely and utterly useless without any clusters in them *coughs*

I wish I had known about not putting IP in Map Navigation. I think I capped it for about the first 30 lvls

I was going to to say I wish I knew what weapon of choice I was going to use on my MP, but then again I think that would also be one of the Devs top 10 too

1/ I wish I'd known how much of my life it would take up...
2/ I wish I'd known that having a top end tradeskilling Engi wouldn't be as lucrative as I'd thought...
3/ I wish I'd known FC would take away Ingots before I spent a couple of months creating a character suitable to farm them...
4/ I wish I'd known how much my G/F wouldn't like it...
5/ I wish I'd known how much a brand new computer (to combat the lag) would cost me...
6/ I wish I'd known how easily I'd get addicted...
7/ I wish I'd known how many Forums I'd end up Moderating due to AO...
8/ I wish I'd known that everyone that isn't American has to pay MORE for AO...
9/ I wish I'd known if there was a list somewhere of RARE nanos & items that are worth big credits before I started looting & terminaling Dyna items (I'm possitive I've terminaled a GA1 & a GA3 sisk)...
10/ I wish I'd known a 10th item...

Wish I'd known when my son asked me if I wanted to try AO as he had been playing a couple of years. I was addicted and now my son doesn't get to play.

I wish I'd known a semi-decent setup for IP when I started. Took me a month of rolling and rerolling untill i found a setup that didn't leave me dying in lvl 8 missions when I was lvl 10...
