AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

The real question is, who cares about WoW?

I care because AO is not gaining a good player enter rate despite its fr00b program.
WoW is hypotising players to play it insted of anything else

1. New engine would attract more players.
2. WoW success is based on the warcraft series. Without them, WoW itself wont be having its position today.
3. A good MMO isnt about playerbase. Player count is a speech of marketing.

Imo, WoW has always sucked.
The boring fantasy genre, the SO-IMMATURE people. Jeez, a friend of mine goes to a raid in WoW and some guy takes all the loot and runs away. Didley,
must be some 13 year old with acne all over him.. They swear all the time, can't use proper grammar and spelling. It's really pissing off, and you can't really play a game in under those kind of circumstances. And that sucky gameplay... Huh? WoW even doesn't have a game play! It's like KILL HORDES or KILL ALLIANCES and nothing else.
Bad game.
Interesting video, though.

You have to remember that WoW is a lowest-common-denominator game. It's made to appeal to the lowest tier player which explains why it's filled with little kids who can't spell and don't want to work to get anything.
I look at WoW as the crap-filter of the MMO world. It attracts all the idiots and lets the rest of us play in relative peace.

I not a kid or an idiot but i admire wow.
Plz dont critize me.
P.S: The main reson that hate bout WoW is about its community so therefore I agree with you. There are ppl that threaten to kill ppl if they dont get what they want.
Heres what one person who played WoW and Warcraft 3 said:
"I'll burn Blizzard's HQ down to the ground if they kill Jaina(one of that person's favourite storyline characters)...."
Is that a MATURE comment or an IMMATUE comment?
Also another person said that about a bad guy in Warcraft:
"He(Arthas) was an !!!%#%# before he became a Death Knight!!!"
Do you think that HE have any respect for the storyline??
Thus WoW is good but it does INDEED have a profane and immature ppl on it.
So ur right...
AO is better than WoW

IMO wow is full of the people that became 'too mature for runescape' and 'too cool' for AO, judging from a person i know at school, who is now insistent on the idea that AoC is a step forward from WoW and better than AO.
but either way, WoW 'esque' players do exist in AO, but they are a rarity, AO esque players are next to extinct in WoW...these are ovbious facts, in all truth iv never played WoW but the responses and 'rumours' etc, that coem from people who'v played it, make me take up my position of opro AO and anti WoW which is the main point... (sorry for the big lecture ><)

Blizzard has in-game help/contacts, no fear of that. I remembered the /hug fab that happened shortly after release. The difference is that Blizzard petition system is run purely by employeed stuff (I think, never played, so not sure). That can have both positive and negative aspects.
But what's the purpose of this topic anyway? Some enjoy WoW, some AO, but most players are into it just for fun. Let them be happy (I pity the person from school that Stevieb knows....to play a game to be cool? What a nerd!)
