Speaking of Avalon, I found a Mantis Den here (level 80-95ish)
Is it a static or a ordinary camp.

This is just an ordinary camp. No Dyna.

I just want to make certain that it’s not a static mission entrance. You went to Avalon and looked? I’m not trying to be difficult or prickly. I certainly don’t recall any static missions there.

Yes, I did. It looks like a Dyna location but there is no Dyna. There is a cave/mission entrance there but it didn't respond like a regular static open cave when I tried to enter. It wouldn't let me in. I tried with a 100, 130, and 215 characters.

It may be a mission area. It is labeled "Mantis Hive" on Saavick's map, but it's not a Hive like in SFH.

Thanks for going to all that trouble Cariadast. Another wild goose chase. Oh well.

From the same waybackmachine thread in 2008:
I swear there's a static in PW but can't recall the location - anyone remember it? It had monster mobs in it - I think crippler type mobs and something else.

Someone else also mentioned PW earlier, so it's definitely possible. I yalmed the Northern half once, but didn't find it. It's a huge zone. There are plenty of buildings you can enter in borg towns (most contain just single empty room), so maybe the static is hidden among those, or it's somewhere else, or has gone broken like the half of the statics in PM...

Part of PW was also terraformed when DB instances came in as well. There was a dyna that was lost in the process, so that could possibly be the case with a Static as well. Just a thought.
