my maps are 1.3, I was getting an error every time I switched the map. So I downloaded the latest ones (2.1), but I am still getting that same error when selecting the newer maps.
Did I do something wrong, or am I missing something ?
Should I had removed the old maps ? I didn't see any read me with installing instructions, if there was any . . I didn't see it

It sounds like an old problem from when they changed some stuff in 2008 during the 17.10.2 patch, but should have been fixed with updated versions of the map.
So it's likely that your old map file isn't getting over-written by the newer version, so yeah.. your best bet is to clear out your custom map folder and install the new map from scratch.

It is fixed now.
it was one or both things I did.
I removed the old folders, and took the AoRK Folder( that has 2.1) out of the AoRK 2.1 folder .
I also downloaded the Map again but did not unzip, did that just as a Back up plan, because after I removed the AoRk folder I deleted the the now Empty AoRK_2.1 Folder
Alls good now
