AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

It's really laggy when outdoors, but it's fine indoors. I'm using windowed mode. Any help on this?

Ok, I'm not using AOU gui, but lag is generated on how AO works. If you play with F10 visuall/graphic options, for example view distance, you'll get certain improvement. Problem with this is, as you minimize setings or turn them off, you're missing more and more on details around you.
Another option is that you cut AO folder from hard disc and copy it to USB key (SSD is even better, but those are still somewhat pricey) and run game from there. Most lag isn't generated by Ram or Gc, but by constant reading/writting on HD.

I'm doubt if it is actually the GUI causing your lag, in fact I've had a few mentions from people saying it has improved it slightly - this maybe because I didn't compress the image data file when I compiled it, or just coincidental.
