whats the best way to get patches downloaded....I need them from 14-7-0 alway to the present....can that be put on a cd and sent to me by some one....any ideas anyone.....

use bittorrent (or something similar) and download more recent version. Took me 90 mins for small client, altho you'll need large one.

Torrent for 17.6.1. (FC should update it I guess)

Some FTPs (use an FTP client to start/stop/resume your downloads):

The small (froob) client, version 17.6.1:
ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/AnarchyOnline_17.6.1_EP0.exe

The large client, version 17.1.1:
ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/AOInstall17.1.1 ... e_nointro/

ALL of the manual patches (EP0 = small froob client patches, EP1 = large client):
ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/

I highly recommend downloading the latest version you can find for the small or the large client (depending on whether you are froob), and then manually patching up to the latest version. Also, if you have Vista, be sure to install into a new directory that is NOT in Program Files.
