IP single respec question...

AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

IP single respec question...

Post by Thunderwear » Sun Feb 17, 2008 9:11 am

How do you respec a single skill?

I select the skill and then click the 'i' in the upper left of the window and select 'Reset single skill', a pop-up window appears and I select 'Yes' and it ask me if I'm sure I want to use the respec and I click 'yes'.

But then nothing happens, the skill isn't reset and I still have the same amount of reset points available. I've done this in the past with the old UI but no go on this new one.

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times already but I've searched various forums and have not found anything yet.

Thanks for any help.

Well, basicly this should work...
You did un-equip everything prior to attempting reset, right?

kk with the new UI

1. strip down to your undies.... remove everything from the player doll equipment window... all 3 tabs must be empty.

2. open skill UI (use "u") and click on the "i" in the upper left corner.

3. select reset skill

4. open skill window (from the tab selections on left side of UI) and select skill to be reset.

5. click on "Reset skill" button on the bottom and then click confirmation.

hope that helps

Doh!

I forgot all about stripping the gear, it's been a while since I played AO.

Thanks for the reminder. )
