I'm not really interested in a Yalmaha, because as long as I have something faster than running, I'll be happy. The Mid is a car that looks like a probe. It can bend light around itself and become transparent (like the Vanquish in James Bond), and I would really like to have one. Problem is, I have not seen one yet in a luxury shop. All I have seen are Yalmahas and Kodaiks.
Do shops recycle every three minutes or something? Has anyone ever seen The Mid in a shop, for that matter?

Check advanced vehicle shops, they sell lower ql ones (high ql Mid is a bit of rarety).
Also, Stolt (NPC vendor) close to Newland Desert always has one in store (I believe it's ql 38ish).

I thought the only place you could get a mid was the NPC...
The main bonus for lower characters with yalms is that they fly...
You can leave the nasty creatures at ground lvl & go where you want (particularly player shops out in the boonies...).
Ground effect vehicles don't get you out of the hitting range fast enough!!!
Does the mid actualy go invisible??? Can you make it do that???

Don't make me come in there and Moderate you!

Not fully invisible, just kinda half-transparent.

The trick is to press "h" while you're in it...

Thanks! That should keep me happy for a while. If I want a faster one, where should I look for high QL Mids?

Yes, altho, like already stated, Yalms might be the way to go, since you can fly over agroing mobs. More expensive tho.

I'm not sure wether high ql mids are ever stocked in shops. However, there is a chance that Rubi-Ka mission chests contain various vehicles. That's also the only verified way of laying hands on an Omni-Tek Gunship, for example.

for a listing of Vehicle Shops that you can use.... use the command /tell recipebot show me 641.
I recommend making a macro:
/macro Yalms /tell recipebot show me 641
and putting it on your quickbar.
