AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

The first obvious place is the shopping channels...
After that, there's the Official Forums, they have a place for you to sell.
Just remember that the shopping channels are area specific, if you offer something for sale when you're in Old Athen, you're not going to get any buyers from Borialis answering...
But you're main 'sale' is actualy going to be your blitzing services, running things to order.

And since I dont know any1 playing yet, thats gonna be hard to sell, so any tips on that?

Sales ads tend to go something like this...
WTS: <drop item for sale into the imput box here>. 5k...
The WTS is short for Want To Sell, WTB is Want To Buy, WTT is Want To Trade.
Literaly drop the item you want to sell into the text imput box, it will create a link to the item so that people can read the description & quality level & other stuff just like you would with an item in your inventory.
'K' is short for 1000, so 200k is 200,000... Anything below 100k is usualy followed by 'creds'...
Other than that, just watch the shopping channels for a while, you'll get the hang of it.
The OA area seems to be a little wider than others so that's a good place, & Bor is obviously good too (usualy sitting around the grid terminal).

The best way to sell stuff in AO is if you are a paying player and have the AI expansion. This will allow you to have an automated player shop in a guild city. Players can use the search terminals found scattered around citys to search all the shops. Since the shops are automated, you do not have to be in game for someone to buy something from your shop.
If you don't have Alien Invasion, you can use one of the shop bots. It allows you to have a shop that can be searched by anyone using the bot, but you still have to make sales person to person. There is no automation of sales.
Here is the link.
While the bots sound like a great idea, the problem with them is the administrators never ever weed out inactive shops, so the search results may be cluttered up with hundreds of shops that in reality the player stopped playing years ago. You can send tells to a bunch of bot shop sellers and never get a reply.
It does work, just not very well because the inactive shops I think discourage buyers from using them. I do manage to sell maybe one item or two a month from my bot shop. I sell more by sitting down on Sunday in Bor or Old Athens and putting tells on the Shopping Channel for an hour or two.
