I was never good with Geography...Iceland is a separate continent I believe but I could easily be mistaken.

Not that anyone cares but there are only seven continents.

1) Africa
2) Antarctica
3) Asia
4) Australia
5) Europe
6) North America
7) South America

Greenland isn't actually a continent (nor is it green...someone should switch Greenland and Iceland's name with each other actually). In some map projections, Greenland only appears to be as large as a continent but that's actually the result of a distortion in the view. Greenland >IS< the world's largest island, however, measuring at 2.1 million square kilometers. Australia - often thought of as the smallest continent - measures out at roughly 7.6 million square kilometers.

Also, Greenland is part of the European Commonwealth and can be considered being part of Europe despite its proximity to Canada. It also belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark.
