I quit AO a few years ago and I decided to re-activate may account. Anything changed?

Umm... that's not really an easy question to answer lol

A lot of things have changed, but it isn't exactly the kind of thing you can make a list on

Your best bet is to read through the patch notes as you are updating your client or to read through them on the official site.

BAD: That s10 everyone abused has been nerfed so you can't farm a billion dollars for your alt..

AO population has gone down slots

GOOD NEWS:

umm..........there is a new instance for the 220s..

I found out my engie can kill a 180 Santa leet.. (lvl 175 at that time)

I returned after about 4 years and I'm having fun

Leveling for casual players got a lot easier thanks to the daily missions, that's for sure.

a lot of inflation in those years (man, my 20millions were worth something back in the days!)

Bad:
- FC hasn't completed the Graphics Engine which they've promised us for many years.
- FC hasn't done the rebalancing which they've promised us for many years.
- FC hasn't advertised/marketed AO at all in even more years.

As a result, AO has lost about 75% of its population (compared to lets say 2005).
If you are not playing peak hours, forget about Battlestation and forget about ANY kind of LFT action (sadly, not even Inf missions anymore).

Since I play both servers, I think RK2 is even worse off than RK1 - a server merge is badly needed, in my opinion.

Good:
Thank god S10 is finally nerfed - it took FC even longer than nerfing the ingots.
Obviously, FC has no clue about economy (virtual or real).

Some of the daily missions are fun, I enjoy doing them and it surely beats sitting on LFT for hours.
