Returning to Anarchy Online

Hey guys, just registered here hopefully if i get back into the game ill be posting here alot more

so used to play back in the day 2006/2007 ect

thinking of returning but im low on funds atm so price is annoying me, thinking of buying a month sub for ?é?ú15 roughly.

im on RK2 mains name was Llyndred an enforcer.

Whats the server pop like now? if i do come back im gonna start a fresh so is it still easy to group with people? do hecks and such? im going to start fresh because iv no idea how to do alien invasions and all that kinda thing again, also i had all expansions including lost eden but now i understand there is a new one?

i asked on another forum people who left said the game is virtually dead

all those kind of questions and any other info u can provide would be great thanks alot everyone.

AO isn't dead, but it is a little quieter, what we've got now is mostly the dedicated players left, but it's far from quiet...

I'd say, get yourself a fr00b (free) account for the first month, that way you'll get back into the game and relearn how to actually PLAY without spending any money (a month is PLENTY of time for this).

After that, find a GOOD Org to join and they will guide you thru pretty much everything else.

i couldnt go back to froob after having the expansions even if it was for only a month lol, funcom has given me a 1 of discount since i am a returning player. i have yet to decide what im going to take.

so there is still plenty of players left? this has kind of put me off a little i miss the old buzzing anarchy everyone on the streets and meet people on your travels ect.

You can still make a froob account while you decide. Just about everyone (possibly everyone) has a froob account alongside their main even if just for bank purposes.

One thing I'd say though, if your plan is to start over and you're using your main account. Don't go the heckler route. I think that's good for people raising alts, but if you're essentially starting again and don't remember a lot of things, you'd be better off taking the time to go through things right and not skipping whole sections of the game in 20 and 30 level jumps

And even with that said, a lot of players don't even do that with their alts since we got a Funcom Store option to upgrade alts to certain levels once your main reaches certain points.
