technical issue

first post, and I need some help

every time I try to log in the game loads for a few seconds and then stops responding, I have tried moving AO to a different folder as well as reinstalling, anyone have any ideas?

What OS are you using and do you get any messages?

If you were trying when you posted your message, the servers were down for patching.

windows 7, although that hasn't prevented me from playing before, and when it happens I get a message saying "Cleintd has stopped working"
