OK,

Figured out why the combo doesn't work. Using the Ctrl-T (tradeskill kit) tells me, I need a Break&Entry skill of 60, and I only have a 15 Doh!

The fixer guide never told me to focus on that... Ugh

Could you give me an example of what a Snare might be named in regards to an "Area" effect to slow monsters down? This way I'll know for the future to start using those.

About all I have on my quick-bar is:

Simple First Aid kit QL9
Basic nano charger QL10
Startup treatment lab QL1 (does both nano & health restore)
Treatment lab QL6
Startup first aid kit (really weak)

Basic insurnace hack
Full Auto Proficiency
Minor suppressor

Bar 2 thorugh 9 are empty.

One other thing, I run really slow. Any suggestions?

As a fixer you can get a break and entry buff and such (plus the generic +20 expertise) which should be more then enough.

Raising B+E results in better treasure in missions so its always nice to have up.

Nano wise: http://auno.org/ao/nanos.php?prof=fixer list of all the fixer nano's and such.

Your quick-bar should be something along the lines of (this is taken from my own preferance mind):

Short hot, Snare, area snare, fickle fate (when you get it), Attack actions (perk/normal attack actions if you dont like keyboard shortcuts), Evac (when you get it), first aid stims

all the long term buffs (15 mins +) can go on other bars.

As for running slow, raise your run speed skill and get your run speed buffs on the go

I'm going at it pretty well now, until I just hit a control terminal, 761 HP of fire damage? Ugh...

hehe yeah, if you see those control terminal things, your best of just leaving it, they always explode nastily and don't really seem to turn anything off (anyway more XP killing turrets and cameras)

Also I wouldnt really suggest going full auto till later levels when you start getting IP to spare

Don't go Full Auto until later? Elaborate please? I use a program called Full Auto Proficiency (cost 2 NCU).

Is there a way to supress the messages that constantly come from OT shopping, CLAN OCC, etc and the likes? It's useless (to me) and annoying over times.

Why is it if I put something in "Cloth" it shows up on my character, but if I put something in "Social" it does not? I've got a nice red cloak hood, but it does not show up, only my helmet does. Even if I remove my helmet, the hood doesn't show up. Am I missing something?

Oh, and BTW< I'll be gone until Monday... Thanks again guys...

Rightclick in the chat window -- subscribe to channels and remove the mark on the ones you don't want

You have to enable social for it to show up.
press F10 to get the config window up. Don't remember exactly where it is, but it is in there somewhere

Social tab enable buttons are in Visual -> Misc in the f10 options

Also for the chat problem you can also press shift + c and alter the subscriptions in that window

As for the full auto, its another special attack that some guns get (like burst) however as a fixer I wouldn't suggest trying to use weapons with full auto on them till later as we get no real buffs for it till later so it will cost a fairly large amount of IP, also should save you some NCU if you dont use the proficiency for it and what not.

Yea, I enabled Social Tab which now shows me with my social's on. Thanks again...
