very cool to see they put some of the characters from the book into the game. I can only assume it wasnt the other way around because prophet without honor came out before SL? Eric Miller was basically the creator of nano bots along with Simon Rosen. I wonder; are they maybe part of the original nine Omega members? I wonder if Dr. Roman Zubov is in game?

I beleive its all the same storyline, and that the books based on the games storyline.

I would think David is still orbiting the planet? I havent read the book in a while, (i'll have to go back to it) but I seem to remember him being in orbit above RK at the end of the book...

David himself, as far as I know, never appeared in-game.

There was an event some time ago ('03?) where a "Vision of David Marlin" appeared briefly.

From my discussions with Clanners and my own speculations I'd say it's safe to assume David has, one way or another, made it to the Shadowlands since that's where his war is still raging.

If he is there then why dosent he appear?

I could see him as a quest giver for quests that allow you to kill Omega mobs so he could win his war with your help or something.

As I said, it's just my speculation... but I would assume for the same reason I can't hang with Dalja and pound back beers - FC didn't want it.

I'm personally not a fan of when Omega get spawned - Who view me like family - Aggroing me on sight.

The two camps on David are "He's still in Space" or "He made Planetfall and is hiding". At this point neither camp can be right since FC hasn't had an official position on David since Pre-SL.
