AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

I played AO since Beta 3 until I left for another game three years ago. I am currently bored to tears with it and had some real sentimental memories of my amazing times in Rubi-ka. I played on Testlive almost exclusively and my old guild ( Bratpack) still sticks in my mind as some of the greatest people I ever played MMORPGs with , and I still communicate with a few of them via email even though we are basically scattered over many games.
My question is, how is the population nowadays? Is Atlantean still the more heavily populated server?
Is the game playable on high end machines running Vista? I plan to play Age of Conan , but Sci Fi is my true favorite genre so I would love to have AO as a second game when I get tired (as I do easily) with the Fantasy stuff.

Beta 3 three years ago? Well, I guess with the bugy AO is still in beta

.
Rimor is more populated those days and you can still find some Brats on testlive. Can't give you first hand report on Vista, but from what I glance on in Tech section of official forums, peeps have some problems with runing AO on Vista.
But why don't you try it out for yourself? Get yourself froob account and if things don't work out, you won't loose nothing but time invested.

I ran AO (large payed client) on a laptop with Vista, worked fine...
Higher end computers are obviously better because you can have all the settings maxed (like I do), I can log 5 instances of AO on full settings without too much noticable lag...
AO is still going strong, as Tgeorge says, Rimor is the main server now for some reason (Rimor rocks ^^)
