The SimpleID part that AOItems uses is managed by us.
To use your AOU-Login you have to do the following:
Login to AOU and access the User Control Panel.
Go to the Profile Tab and scroll to the bottom where it says Allow OpenID. Make sure it is YES and submit.
On the left side, click on Edit account settings and at the bottom enter your current password in the Current password field, then submit.
You can now use the SimpleID login.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but AOUs and SimpleIDs password hashing functions are very different, which is why the extra password confirmation step is required.
I changed the SimpleID-Login screen to reflect this little instruction.
