Introduction

Faithful or Chosen armor is the final upgrade to the Tier armor. Faithful is for clanners, Chosen for Omni. The processes surrounding making this armor can be complicated, even more so because of the small variations in what is available for each profession as you move from the Jobe Armor, to Tier 1 then Tier 2 and ultimately this armor.

However, if you are able to follow instructions and read the information available, hopefully you wont be a soldier with a Chosen Agent Manteau!

Upgrading Tier 2

This includes shoulderpads/backitem if your profession has one for Tier 2. To upgrade your Tier 2 item you will need the following:

You will need as many of these profession specific glyphs as you want armor pieces.
Complete glyph drops from Corrupted mobs in Pandemonium
Parts to make these glyphs can be farmed from inferno catacombs.

You will need as many of these as you want armor pieces.
Drops from Dryad bosses in Ely, Adonis and Penumbra, as well as ANY dryad including bosses in inferno.
You can also quest for one.

Not consumed (you just need 1)
Clan / Omni specific
Drops from Inferno named sided mobs, Inferno Temple bosses and Dark Marshes mobs.

Step 1

Reviving the glyph (profession specific)

  +    =
For professions: Agent, Bureaucrat, Nano Technician, Soldier
The above process requires 1210 Field Quantum Physics and 1210 Computer Literacy.

  +    =
For professions: Engineer, Martial artist, Enforcer, Keeper, Shade
The above process requires 1210 Field Quantum Physics and 1210 Computer Literacy.

  +    =
For professions: Meta-Physicist, Doctor, Adventurer, Fixer, Trader
The above process requires 1210 Field Quantum Physics and 1210 Computer Literacy.

Step 2

Combine Revived Blue Glyph with an insignia of your alignment.

  +    =
Omni
For professions: Agent, Bureaucrat, Nano Technician, Soldier
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Clan
For professions: Agent, Bureaucrat, Nano Technician, Soldier
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Omni
For professions: Engineer, Martial artist, Enforcer, Keeper, Shade
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Clan
For professions: Engineer, Martial artist, Enforcer, Keeper, Shade
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Omni
For Professions: Meta-Physicist, Doctor, Adventurer, Fixer, Trader
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Clan
For Professions: Meta-Physicist, Doctor, Adventurer, Fixer, Trader
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

So now you have your Glyph of Judgement or Glyph of the world, depending on whether you are clan or omni. Next you need to combine this with your Tier 2 item to create your Faithful/Chosen item.

Step 3

Upgrading your piece of Tier 2 Armor.
As an example, lets make a pair of soldier pants:

  +    =
This final step requires 990 Computer Literacy.

Backitem and Shoulderpads Non Tier 2 Steps

This is the tradeskill process for items that have no Tier 2 version:

  • Martial Artist, Soldier and Adventurer T3 shoulderpads.
  • Agent, Bureaucrat, Doctor, Enforcer, Engineer, Fixer, Keeper, Metaphysicist, Nano Technician, Shade and Trader T3 backitems.

You will need the following:

This item will not be consumed in the tradeskill process.
The glyph is NODROP. You will need to loot this from Eradicus' corpse.

This item will not be consumed in the tradeskill process.
Drops from Pandemonium corrupted mobs

See this guide on how to obtain these items.

This side specific glyph is not consumed in the process.
Drops from Inferno named sided mobs, Inferno Temple boss and Dark Marshes.

Let's use the soldier shoulderpads as our first example. Remember, this shoulderpad process is ONLY for Martial Artists, Soldiers and Adventurers.

Step 1: Shoulderpad

  +    =
This step requires 990 Computer literacy.

Step 2: Shoulderpad

  +    =
This step requires 990 Computer literacy.

Step 3: Shoulderpad

The next part depends on whether you are Omni or Clan:

  +    =
Omni
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

  +    =
Clan
The above process requires 1375 Field Quantum Physics and 1375 Electrical Engineering.

Step 4: Shoulderpad

Combining the glyph with your armor.

For the shoulderpad, the process is now very simple.

  +    =
Omni
The above process requires 990 Computer Literacy.

  +    =
Clan
The above process requires 990 Computer Literacy.

If you are making the back item, the process requires a little thinking to make sure you make the right end result:

  • If you are an Agent, you can leave your Excellent Jobe Suit Support System exactly how it is, just add the glyph.
  • If you are of any other profession, you first need to right-click your Excellent Jobe Suit support system to make a Jobe X Support System, where X is your profession. Otherwise, you'll end up with an Agent part.

Finally, combine your X Glyph of Judgement with your Excellent Jobe Suit Support System or Excellent Jobe Suit Shoulderpads to create your Faithful/Chosen item. This final step requires 990 Computer Lit.

Note
: If you have Chosen Insignias and need Faithful, in the Redeemed temple you can find an NPC named Eccleast Gal Ilad (North room, standing in the middle of the room next to the wall) who will happily trade your Chosen insignias for Faithful ones.

Somewhere in the Unredeemed temple, an NPC named Prophet Abad Mord should be availible to do the same trade for Unredeemed.

Camping the Catacombs

As mentioned at the start of this guide, there is an alternative way to get your hands on the Blue glyphs. Instead of looting the complete glyphs in Pandemonium, you can go into the Inferno catacombs and collect the fruitions for your faction and also the embryos needed to complete each glyph.

You will need 3 fruitions and 1 embryo for each glyph, and then to trade them with your IPS representative in the shop in Jobe Harbour. The Fruitions drop from general mobs in the catacombs, while the embryos are random rare drop from minibosses and a decent chance from the main boss (level 270).

FruitionUsed by

Adventurer
Doctor
Fixer
MP
Trader

Agent
Bureaucrat
Nanotechnician
Soldier

Enforcer
Engineer
Martial Artist
Keeper
Shade

As you hunt the Shadowlands for fruitions, if you pick up a fruition that is not for your profession, do not fret. Take it to the Exchange Officer of IPS to swap it for one for your profession.
