Psst! Mutants are among us!!!

Actually the word mutant isn't politically correct. Proper title would be genetically created being. Some were introduced to world of Rubi-Ka by the ever evolving corporation Omni-Tek and others were liberated by animal activists (ahem) like Eco Red. But the fact remains, they are all around us. Sometimes a danger, sometimes a nuisance, but always a presence. Among those roaming the plains some, namely Eye Mutants, got their hands on phats. And after a bit of friendly fire they even willing to share them with us. But due to difference in morphology, most of those items need some additional processing for human use.

Here are the items you will find on Eye Mutants (drop rate calculated from 100 kills in Pleasant Meadows and 100 kills in south of Greater Tir County):

- 2% drop chance
- 1.5% drop chance - Used for creation of Eyemutant Orb Laser
-1% drop chance
- 1.5% drop chance - Used for creation of Massive Steel Body Armor
- 1% drop chance - Used for creation of Special Emergency Treatment Laboratory
- 2% drop chance - Used for creation of Eyemutant Sinew Armor
- 2% drop chance - Used for creation of Eyemutant Sinew Armor
- 2% drop chance - Used for creation of Eyemutant Sinew Armor

So how can a young Engineer get his or her hands on Eyemutant Orb Laser, apart from looting an already build one from the corpse of an Eye Mutant? Crucial ingredient is an Eyemutant Eye. They come in all QL and if you're after higher ones, I would suggest visiting camps in west of Avalon or pulling a mission.

You will need the following items:

Drum of Hydrochloric Acid can be bought from Pharmaceutical Components Terminal
Field Quantum Physics All-Purpose Tool can be found at from General Tools Terminal.

Here is the process:
  +    =

Requires x4.5 in Chemistry Skill, Drum must be at least x0.6x QL of the Eye.

  +    =

Requires x4.5 in Weapon Smithing and x3 in Computer Literacy Skills.
