If AO's gonna survive this should happen....................

AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

The only thing I can't wait to see implemented is a new graphics engine. Ever since it was announced I've been waiting to hear an update concerning it.

Other than that, I'm fairly happy with the game content. They continue to surprise us with more instances and item drops which is quite nice. I'm looking forward to the RK weapons face lift which is coming in 17.7.

If anything, I'd like to see more mob types scampering about RK. After you play for a while you stop discovering new ones. I remember the first time I stumbled upon some drill mobs after playing the game for quite some time. The model along with the whirling sound effects was quite entertaining :D

lol dude... if you do that then the game will be too much like G.W. (which by my opinion, sucked ass) and we cant have that. Anarchy shouldn't be stealing other idea's from other games, thats what makes this game so unique. Ive never seen a free MMORPG game this awesome.

I think that Guild Wars was (and IS) an awesome game, but you can't graft that idea into AO. Guild Wars was designed from the ground up as a balanced class-based game with a Primary class and the ability to don a secondary class to complement it.* AO is a skill-based game masquerading as a level-based game (i.e. Most of your advancement is where you choose to spend your IP, rather than automatically given to you every level), and thus, could not use this "dual class" logic. Especially given the fact that you can "have it all" as it were with the Agent profession.

* City of Heroes also has a dual class logic that works well.

Well, just saying, agents cant have it all, but damn close to it.

Only thing is they cant use the trader shop (I tried) which sucks.

But as far as nano's and maybe armor (im not quite sure) they can use all...

But anyway, ya... I dont think any game should be mixed in with AO because AO is already a very... very unique game, and then by adding more idea's other games already came up with, thats making it seem like AO has no other idea's and were just a "poser" game.

But like Hanshoo said... the double-proffession thingy just wont work with this kinda game.. you might go gimp, way faster than normal (if people normally go gimp through out the whole game)

Ok, i haven't thrown new ideas around lately. So here goes (based on the Moon Playfield idea).

Ok, the new expansion of the year:

Blood Moon Rising!

The enemy has tried numerous times for years to make a sucessful landing of their forces to occupy Rubi-ka to anihilate it's population and failed.

Now they realize their orbital blockade from which they launch their assaults is not working to their advantage since there are now battlestations keeping their largest battleships from landing on the planet.

Their new strategy has taken Rubikans by surprise. For months the aliens have secretly moved small cargo ships to one of Rubi-ka moons with building equipment and materials. By the time Omni-Tek's long range sensors pick up the anomaly on the moon, it's too late.

The enemy now has a new base of operations, fully defended by a fleet of alien starfighters in space and a full contingent of new super-soldier aliens in the base itself.

They are using genetic research to enhance themselves and their armor, making them even stronger than before, more deadly, more powerful and there are thousands of cryo-chambers with the new alien lifeforms.

Their lifespan shortened due to their rapid growth, but a price the aliens are willing to pay, for victory.

A whole squad of Unicorn covert-ops died to aquire this intel before they were discovered and are assumed to either be dead or captured.

Once again a Unicorn officer is willing to even allow the clans to join the operation against the new threat.

Your mission.

Join a Unicorn Squad (either solo or with a team) as they infiltrate the enemy base, steal whatever new technology you can find, sabotage the cryo-chambers to at least slow their plans and capture an alien geneticist alive without dying in the process.

The size of the base is huge and the limited intel on the layout of it can easily lead the squad (and you/your team) into many dead ends, traps, ambushes and boobytrapped areas, items and maybe even killer aliens posing as scientists.

Beware also that if you're spotted and the alarmed goes off, hundreds of aliens will be searching for intruders and are likely to shoot to kill.

Due to the distance between the moon and Rubi-Ka there is a 30% chance that your insurance pattern may deteriorate forcing the system to create a new body based on a previous pattern stored if you die on the moon.

Rubi-Ka is once again in danger of being conquered by the aliens, will you answer the call to save the world, again?

This sounds great, release it now.

Although being an "American Werewolf in London" fan I would change the title to "Bad Moon Rising"

Excellent idea.

I'm a fan of the Dust Brigade content added lately (although I wish the events team would start raiding cities as the Dust Brigade again). It's nice to see FC returning to the old RK enemies, where for years they seemed to be forgetting about everything that previously existed whenever they released an expansion.

I'd still like to see them using the cyborgs again--I think with the aliens' advanced biotech, Funcom could come up with some creative ways for cyborgs to use aliens for spare parts, the way they supposedly did with humans back before SL release...

They won't do a 'common bank for an account' due to above mentioned issues. As well, anyone can roll fr00b account mule(s) to essentially cover the 'common bank' issue.

What might be more useful would be an 'Org bank' that anyone of a certain rank or higher in the org could use. Such a bank would have to not accept any nodrop items. Such a bank would be useful for ppl within the org who are on at different times to pass each other items.
