The in-game Christmas event has started today, 19 December 2022! So far no official announcement has been made though, so the end date is unknown. (Confusingly, the launcher shows 7 January, but that's last year's event). If an announcement is made, possibly with a subscription offer, I'll update this post

Edit: the event has now ended on 10 January 2023!
