Fugit: Tell me about Rubi-Ka.
Sam Chin: Rubi-Ka is being destroyed by Omni-Tek !
They drain all the natural resources from this planet, and create a hazardous environment for the people living here. Something must be done!
Fugit: Tell me about Omni-Tek.
Sam Chin: Omni-Tek? Hmmph.
The worst thing that has ever happened is Omni-Tek.
The day Omni-Tek is nothing but a bad memory, we shall all be free!
Fugit: Tell me about ICC.
Sam Chin: ICC - The Intergalactic Council of Corporations.
The ICC was formed to the benefit of all corporations, as they could all share markets and peacefully agree on trade and resource allocation.
The ICC's main purposes are:
To oversee fair trade.
Uphold patent regulations.
Lease out solar systems.
And run the intergalactic police force.
Fugit: Tell me about nanotechnology.
Sam Chin: Nanotechnology is a great addition to day-to-day tasks and improves the efficiency of virtually every task.
If you can learn how to use it, you should do so.
Fugit: Tell me about Notum.
Sam Chin: Notum is what makes nanotechnology stable and function properly.
Only to be found here on Rubi-Ka, and Omni-Tek viciously extracts all Notum it can from the planet.
It's a shame to see this planet be ruined by a corporation like Omni-Tek.
Fugit: What can you tell me about adventuring?
Sam Chin: I used to do a lot of adventuring. I was a real wildcat in my youth.
But then I lost all of my friends during an adventure near the Temple of Three Winds.
Fugit: Tell me about the Temple
Sam Chin: The Temple of Three Winds is a temple far up north.
It had something to do with time travel, if I remember correctly.
Fugit: Tell me more about the Temple.
Sam Chin: Oh? You want to hear more, do you?
Well, let me see.
The builders of the temple believed there are Three Winds: Wind of the Past, Wind of the Present, and Wind of the Future.
There was yet another, more elaborate reason for building it... if I could only remember it.
Fugit: Why build a Temple?
Sam Chin: Why? Oh. Let me think.
Now..
The builders of the temple believed that in constructing the Temple of Three Winds, they could harness the powers of the winds, and thereby control time itself!
It didn't work, of course.
