Jobe Scientists guide wrong?

Hey,
Was doing the Jobe Scientists quest on a new toon yesterday, and got to Dr Darnell (the crazy hippie lady on the floating island), and did her DNA samples mission....
Then nothing. She wouldn't give me the follow up.
I put in a petition and GM said the guide was wrong. Said there was another mission that has to be done before the dna samples. said shouldn't even have the chat option for the dna samples yet. He gave the mission to me, and i was able to do it (some instanced mission, had to return an item, a bowl i think), and then had to do the dna samples AGAIN. Only then was able to get the the symbolism library mission, and (finally) get my nano.

Can you guys update the guide? I had to wait 3 hours for a gm just to tell me the guide was wrong, and I did it wrong
