Yesterdays Disruption of Service

As some of you might have noticed we had connection issues with the server. You may have got varying versions of a 'timeout' message when trying to log on to AO-Universe.
So, it turns out there have been some massive AI bot request incidents recently (not just on AOU) which culminated in yesterdays outage.
These have been big enough to be considered borderline DDOS attacks.
Khuri has it sorted and is looking into strengthening the various defences...
All should be running as normal now.
