Greetings all.

I am a returning player after a few years away from the game. Sadly, i have forgotten pretty much everything !!!

I am a level 220 Crat and although i can remember certain parts of the game overall i am at a loss in both what i "could" be doing and what i "should" be doing.


I know there are daily mission available but some of them (such as the alien mission to go into xan and for some ammo) are just beyond what my character can do .. and since i fail to recall what i was last doing i seem a little stuck.


I know generally people used to farm things for creds and i did take part in some of the events, (have the crat dreadlock pistol along side a perfected dusk bracer) i just cannot remember how or where i go to get back into the community of it all.


overall im just asking what events and things other people do and spend their time on while playing the game so that i at least have the option to join or try join them. any useful links to guides for such events would be of massive help too

The first question would probably be What expansions do you have?
If you've done a full upgrade and have Xan there are inumerable things you COULD be doing...

Second question would be, are you Omni, Neut or Clan and what server are you on?

I understand there are lots of things to do but finding who how and where isnt as easy there doesnt seem to be any ingame (this is available now) and when i look on the team finding window its just full of acronyms and people generally say they dont have time to show a noob about hense the request for info on what people are doing and also links to these things so that i can start the catch up process

See you were doing ok, right up untill you said RK1, I could have put you in touch with some good Orgs on RK2 Or even shown you around a bit, I'm more of a hands on person than someone who can describe things in text.
I'm sure someone else here will say something soon tho...

In the meantime, have you had a look thru our guides section? There's stuff in there I've not done yet, and I've been playing since 2005...!

haha, are there active orgs willing to take on a inexperienced undergeared crat ? if so i may change her over.

Yea im reading some of the guides and just reset all perks/skills to redo them i think i wasnt that hot back in the day so its the long road of recovery for me

Oh god yes, although there aren't as many people around as there used to be, there's still quite a few, and Orgs keep actively recruiting, the best bet is to ask around about the larger orgs, these are the ones that will have dedicated chat bots, player cities and an active roster/raid program going on.
You'll find these orgs on Dim 1 as well, it's just that I don't know them...

(can you swap chars from one Dim to another at the moment?)

Yeam im sure i saw a paid service to do so..

thing is with the game being as it is paying xfer or such makes it more than worth it if the peopel and the activity are there.

nothing is worse than standing in OA watching a lonely chat channel




This service will let you move an Anarchy Online character between accounts that are under the same master account.

There is a separate service that will allow you to merge accounts.

Once you have requested a transfer it will take up to an hour to be completed. During that time both accounts should be logged out of the game.

This is available for a limited time at an introductory price of 1200 points, the normal price is 2400 points.


Hmm seems its only trading accounts not servers ... thats a shame although clarification would be cool

Send in a petition and ask an ARK or GM... Or send them an EMail, it may be possible... I know they did a load of Dimention transfers recently as they're shutting down DNW (German server), so they might still be able to do it.
