Ring-making help pl0x

Post by Ian9018 » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:55 am

I know ingots aren't too valuable anymore, but to make SL rings for the basic buff... Sometimes that +2-4 intelligence is all you need. I can't seem to find anything that'll reclaim down or anything. Help?

This guide should pretty much explain everything
http://www.ao-universe.com/main.php?sit ... k=2&id=158

There is a link to the guide on metals too within it.

Farm medusas, they drop all sorts of rings that you can melt down into gold & silver...

However, you get a better buff if you use platinum, which you can find on dynas & mission bosses...

Also be aware, that the raw ingots found in SL cannot be rendered into liquid metals. You need to use raw ingots found on Rubi-Ka.

However, the jewelry you find in SL mission chests that are on this list Metals List can be melted down into ingot form.

Happy Tradeskilling :D

Actualy, you can find Tradeskill ingots in SL, they drop off mission bosses...

Basicaly, any ingot that says 'small' as in: Small Gold Ingot, Small Platinum Ingot, Small Silver Ingot. All these are Tradeskillable!

Trust me, I'm an Engineer...

Yes, ANYONE can use them so long as you have the 'pitifuly small' requirements...

One thing to add, obviously the Ingots have to be the 'RK' small ingots, but the stones need to be the SL ones!

On another note, check out Polychromatic Pillows! These AI items are also fr00b friendly, however, you've either gotta be 180+ & have AI to get them or you gotta buy them (around 50mill+ on RK2 now for one). But personaly I think they're the best lowbie buffing item in the game, with the rings coming a close second.

I'm always thinking of the pillows as convenience buffing items at all levels. Especially for higher levels, there's always something else that does the job better, but lots of these either are either hard to equip, hard to get or just not worth the effort. :)
