Health coils in Shadowlands

Ok, just upgraded to Sl and have a question about health coils. Is this what is used instead of medkits on RK? If so, why are they so expensive and heal so little?

health/nano coils are the SL kits yes, and they charge like HOTs (heal over time) so you need to stay seated for them to continuously heal you
the spindles give a double heal/nano hit

One more q. How often do they heal for the amount quoted? I looked on Auno.org and is it the below? Does it heal for the amount every 15 sec?

it heals constantly until you stand up, it just locks treatment for 15s

it generally gives 2 tics per time the buff appears in your NCU, and the longer you sit the more it heals per tic, it will only really do the stated ammount on the use

I just noticed they only have 100 charges as well. Only 100 heals for a whole lot of money. I guess I will head back to RK to earn a buttload more.

Of course, if you do SL missions, you can pick them out of chests with a random QL for free...
Also, you can Clicksaver for them (CSing for SL heals in RK, go figure...).

just remember that its essentially a full heal per charge no matter what the ql of the kit, the ql just changes the time it takes to heal by increasing how much per tic

Hmm. Not sure I understand what you mean by full heal. They only heal the prescribed amount right? Meaning they only heal 20 hp for the really low one up to 200 hp or so for the one that goes for about 600k. Am I missing something here?

When you use the coil it gives you a buff which lasts for 5 seconds and "ticks" twice in that time, healing for near the ammount shown on the coil per tick (so thats 2x whats on the description per buff), if you remain sat after the 5 seconds the buff will be REAPPLIED automatically without having to use another coil, healing for another 2 ticks for around the ammount shown on the coil.
This will keep happening for as long as your sat down when the buff ends (yes you can stand up while the buffs on cast a nano and sit down again before it wears out) which means as long as you dont stand up and run off you will keep healing.
Whats more is the longer you sit down with the coils working on you, the more they heal per tick, not by a large ammount but they do go up.

Oh ok. I think I got it now. So, I can sit down, use 1 of the 100 coils and continuously heal until I stand and run off. That is much better. Thanks for the help!
