The redirection this forum does makes the hyperlink break. Just copy and paste the text into your browser.

I'd love to hear a remix of the music of AO, I have to admit I've thought of doing it myself. As long as its ok with FC, and I'm pretty sure it would be, I say go for it.

I just downloaded and listened to the FC soundtrack.. and PEEE-EWWW.... so yeah, do a funky rocked up jazzed out crazy remix dude... i can listen to it when I'm doing coding and stuff ^^ Just make sure its ballzy :D

*waits for remix to come* ...

I would love new game music.
A bunch of new songs would be great, different tunes for different occassions. One tune for cruising in your yalm over the countryside a different one for sneaking missions another one when killing in battlestations, and you should be able to change it yourself.
Maybe add checkboxes in sounds under "F10" for the mood your in and being able to /macro them and having them on your fastbar.
Just an idea ^^

There actually is an official AO soundtrack downloadable from Funcom's FTP:
ftp://ftp.funcom.com/media/AOSoundtrackVol2.zip
I haven't played AO since 2001, so the original music is crazy nostalgic for me. Needless to say, I missed out on the free soundtrack downloads. I grabbed vol 2 off of the official Facebook a few weeks ago, but what was in vol 1 and where can I get it? Is vol 2 a revised edition, or am I missing a bunch of stuff by not having the first one?

4 year old post, so answers are likely not going to reflect what it is in the thread anymore ;)

There's a news article about free game soundtracks and where to download them that's only a few weeks old. You still can't get volume one, however. They have 2 and the SL soundtracks listed. http://www.ao-universe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5467

2 is just a continuation as there is a lot of game music. There are places to get the first one, but you would have to Google that as I can't find confirmation on if volume 1 is intended to be free or not.
