Patching problem =(

AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

One of your downloaded files ... or more are corrupted. Usually it helps to set back the version of you client (manually) to the previous patch and start the client to patch again.

You can find the according file at:
...\Anarchy Online\version.id

Open that file with for example the simple Windows Editor and set back the version to "17.10.5_<your expansion>" while your client logon is deactivated and then start your client ... and start downloading the patch again.

If the problem remains, please contact the support@anarchy-online.com ... unless someone else has another idea to fix.

This is what I did to get it to work straight off:

1. I d/l the patch files from http://ftp.funcom.com:7013/c/v17.10.5_EP1-v18.0.0_EP1/ into my AO Patch folder.

2. Because I had a custom GUI I also d/l the 17.10.0 Clean GUI zip http://forums.anarchy-online.com/attach ... 1222111861, renamed my GUI Default folder to "Custom" and copied the Default folder from the zip to the GUI folder.

3. Ran patch - no errors

4. Renamed the new Default folder to "Original" and the "Custom" back to "Default"

5. Ran game and it worked fine with my custom GUI
