I have had two runs on AO before this, the first was about two years ago I had a MA and i made it to ToTw then a year ago I played for two weeks while i was home sick and my comp got fried I'm coming back now and honestly I dont remember much any tips would be greatly appreciated

I'm starting from scratch, already lvl 43 ADV, how do i dual log accounts? i have another set up just no idea how to open multiple clients

Log in completely to one account, then launch the client again and click that you do wish to run a second account.

(( Assuming you really do mean that you have two separate accounts and not just two separate characters ))

Yup, just open the second exactly like you would do the first (it's generaly better if you're in windowed mode, I'm assuming that since you're wondering how to do this is because you're in fullscreen mode).

You can open as many clients as your computer is capable of running, my nice new shiney computer will run 5 instances in full effects & will run 6 if I dumb the effects down a little.

What you have to remember about dual logging is to minimise all the windows that you're NOT using at the time, only have ONE window maximised at a time, if you don't it causes mouse lag & a Felix the Cat effect...

You can NOT dual log 2 characters on the same account, UNLESS they are on different servers (but why you'd want to do that I'm not sure lol), dual logged characters have to be on seperate accounts...

I think that logging in two characters from the same account is against the eula...

It is, but logging two characters from different accounts in at the same time isn't.

I dual log in fullscreen and have no troubles at all, I have heard of people having troubles alt-tabbing out of AO to desktop though.

As far as I know, it is even across servers.

No, the servers work independantly...

For example, TRY to log two chars in from the same account on the same server, it won't let you...
Now log two chars in from the same account on different servers, works normaly...

What you said is that it's possible to dual log between servers. What I'm saying is that I think it's not allowed to dual log between servers. Slight difference.
