I play as lvl 30 Crat, i am untwinked and self buffed. My bot is lvl 48 and even with normal dmg buff, MA buff and the first pet buff it does lower damage than a lvl 40 MP pet.

Whose pets does most damage? Engineer pets or MP pets?
Crat pets clearly dont, but its still quite okay.

I love pets and pets r the reason i play MMORPGS and RPGS so what class can PVE best with pets?

I completed Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 with only mage summoners, i got a major fetish for pets and i never play any games that dont have pets and i always play only pet classes, always.

This is a serious post and i do have a serous fetish for pets so please tell me what class can solo best with pets on Anarchy Online.

I'd have to say Engi...

It's just SO easy to get LARGE pets on an engi...
With all expansions & some serious twinking & money, you can get the 200 Guardian Slayer on at lvl60... But so long as your pet reads as 'Much higher than you' you're doing ok... ^^

Engis tend to have the tougher pets for tanking (until they get the first dog, which is just there for damage and can take a hit like a nanomage trader with its back turned)

MPs tend to deal more damage but cant take as many hits (heal and calm pet give good support)

Crat pet I've found tends to be below the others in all aspects, but backed up by 2 decent charmed mobs can make them formidable.

I'd go on how the class plays rather then just there pets

bear in mind when twinking, Engi pets are the only ones that don't time out (unless you log out)

umm okay, but whats the point on useing so much money and stuff to get a slayer at lvl 60? if u use that time to level u will be like lvl 120 in 1 or 2 days and than u can use em easy.

what level mobs are you putting your pet up against ?, my pet is lower level then myself and survives just fine, but then again I always charm for a second pet, which is who I send to attack first.

So you can sit back and clear out ToTW... but yeah in normal gameplay you wouldn't go to that extreme, general formula I keep to is to have the pet at 2x my own level (perfectly feasible with minimal twinkage) as that gives it a good head start.

Crats probably have an easier time solo then the others due to calms and 3 damage pets (always charm the highest damage mobs you can or any robot mobs as they can be healed)

Then MPs due to calm pet and heal pet aswell as crazy damage pet and self buffage

Engineers are ok but really need the highest pet possible to make things go quickly

My example was just that, an extreme (I've almost got my Solitus (I know, don't say it) engi twink there, not far now), but generaly, if you can see what lvl your bot is for an engi, it's too low!
Doing that is within the capabilities of pretty much anyone (especialy if you bump into a friendly engi & ask the wrong dumb question at the right time ^^).

Now i am lvl 36 and my pet is much higher than me but i guess its about lvl 60 (selfbuffed). my pet can solo all of totw except for Lien,GOT and azur. Everything else goes down quite easy.

Can the legionares be tamed by the way? they always resist my tame nano even though i got a good tame nano Personal Magnetism and Dominate Psyche.

I believe they can, but you're probably just too low yet...

btw you can get exact level of your pet from looking at the shell before you use it.

Also uping your psychology helps land your charms (you get a psychology buff as a crat as well)

There are numerous items that you can get to help you increase your casting skills. Such as Nelebs robe (+8 to all casting skills i think maybe higher) from Steps of madness, Shades of Lucubration if you are a nanomage (+30 int/psy), also having a custom set of implants made for yourself that increase your MC/TS which are the nano skills used to cast your pets. If you have all expansions and a nanomage, devallos sleeves are a good option but can be pricey at lower QLs. Also, there is a notum ring from ToTW that give +2 MC/TS just gotta kill some of the lower bosses till it drops.

Lya Sangi glasses give + to all nano skills so probably better then the shades of lub, for nanos and they drop from pumpkins so get farmin!
