Making the Money

I've been using clicksaver for quite a while now and its done my character wonders. I made a killing off of concrete cushions and OT-Windchaser M06 Quartz rifles.

The thing is though, I don't know where to go from there. What are other items that I should look for and run missions for?

Can you guys give me any hints or point me to a guide that covers all this?

Since we've been discussing it elsewhere, you may also want to take up tradeskilling such as jewelry craft as well, save any gems you find and hit the shop later to make some killer rings. linky

Also, when hunting outside, save all monster parts and hit them with a advanced bio-comminutor. Plasma = good term-food.

Those are just a couple small-time hints to increase income over time. And, of course the obvious easy-plug, listen to GridStream every evening during a live show and join the lottery-style contests, might just win a million creds or more. :)

Clicksaved battle suits sell well to omni terminals, & nanos sell well to players (depending on nano...)

I think you was thinking about ql 44 Galahad Inc T70 Beyer

Other wanted buffing-items is:

ql 40 Tsakachumi PTO-HV.2 Counter-Sniper Rifle (adds 20 agility)

ql 30 ICC Arms 2Q2C Gun Bag (adds 10 sense)

Another great way for making credits it to pull team missions and then run them solo. You can kill your way to boss and loot everything, or just blitz to boss and kill/loot. Either way, all mission bosses will drop relatively high value items for shop food, as well as nice items for the shopping channel. Hi-level players do this constantly, just to blitz to boss and loot him hoping for a CRU (controller recompiler unit) to drop. You can do this too, and here's how:

Flag yourself on the looking for team page, with a note that says something like "pulling team mishes to run solo". You have to get teammates in your level range, and the more you get, the more loot the boss will drop. Each player needs to be in a different zone when pulling, or you're going to get updated with each others missions, resulting in just a little confusion! Remember you're running this team mission solo, so pull a ql that's appropiate, probably one notch below your level to start and adjusting upwards as you get the hang of it.

Since getting a team for this can be a challange at low levels, it's a good idea to try and pull a few missions while you have the teammates. Try to get missions located close together city so your traveling is minimized. If possible, stay with your own side (clan/omni), as a mixed team can generate mobs aligned to your own side, and they won't tab up (an annoyance). Having said that, if I had the choice of a clan team of two or a mixed team of six, I'd take six, as the boss would drop much more loot. (more teammates when pulling = more boss loot)

Boss items you might be especially interested in:
Nova dillon/chilled sekutek/kirch armor - often there's people looking for it on shopping channel, as it has nice mods to basic skills. Sells for 100k+/piece.
Any boss nano or instruction disk you get should be run through itemsnet, to see if it's store buyable. If not store buyable, someone wants it. /tell itemsnet (drop nano/ID here).
x-3 rifles - 3Kish/ql, except for very low ql, minimum is probably 50k.
Turquoise MA suits - sorry don't know price, but there are calls for it on shopping channel.
At level 75, you can pull biomech helmet/cloak. Easy 300k for pair.
At level 80ish, servants of 8 armor starts to drop. Very nice for buffing basic skills. Helm, sleeves, body, legs. QL 90ish is +5 for one basic skill and there's somebody somewhere that's twinking into something that needs it badly.
The king of boss drops, CRU!!. CRU is an Alien Invasion item, dropping exclusively from Rubi-Ka mission bosses. It's used to charge up a city controller, which will call aliens. CRU sells on shopping for 80k-100k/ql, but personally my price is always 100k/ql. It's hi-level players that generally want it, and I've never had a problem getting full price for it. If you get a ql 10 CRU, you just earned 1M credz. My advice is hold firm at 100k/ql.

I'm sure there's people that disagree with some of my pricing and information here, but what I've said reflects my own ingame experiences.
Credits aren't a problem if you do team missions. Send tell to Egregious on RK1 if you have questions and Good luck :-)

Just a note on my previous post .... biomech can be pulled as reward in solo mission, it's not exclusively boss drop.

It will vary from faction to faction (since they can't see each others shops or shopping channels (ignoring Neuts)) & from server to server...

What faction are you L on what server?

not that it matters to froobs but they also drop from SL missions

It should matter to fr00bs either way, cause the CRU can be sold for quite a bit on the open market.

Going price on Rimor (at least on the Clan side) is 100k/QL.
Meaning that a 10% CRU goes for 1million Creds whilst a 90% CRU goes for 9million Creds...
Certainly nothing to be sniffed at for a lower lvl Char.

The general consensus is that CRUs drop more often from Mission Bosses when you are in a full team, so either do a team mission with a full team & roll for the CRU (if one drops), or find 5 other people that are looking for CRUs & team up, then all pull one mission (or more) & do them solo but stay in team...

no meant that it wouldnt matter for them to know they drop in SL missions also
