Lv locks................

FC should remove them.

Why?

1.A lot of lv-locked items have an prolonged use. I mean that because you can use gta and styg till lv 100 and the robes can be converted into IS passes at lv 125. Foreman also have a lot of long-term items as well. A couple also dont drop off other bosses post-lv lock through the foreman ring drops off a camelot boss. The foremen drops also yield long-term usage items. You can use the CoH loot till lv 200 or something.

2.A lot of valuble loot is NODROP so if you fail to get it.........you fail at all.

3. It makes the game feel "less linear".

But it gives one problem-It allows 220s to pwn everything.

So....

I suggest we team inst the dungeons.

Each dungeon has a 6-man limit.

The raids wont be instanced through.

Only these raids will:

Sl ones

AI sectors

Also why dont the sl dungeons have lv locks.

1. If you can't be bothered to go into GTA or Foremans to get your phats.. Well then sorry, you had 60/100 levels to do it.. As for CoH, look what happened to that dungeon when you could warp into it.. Rarely visited, mostly 200+ people getting an engi to warp em in and then kill stuff.. Just what would happen to totw and foremans, just another farm fest for highlevels..

2. Go to the dungeon before you are locked out, easy solution. And I honestly can't think of a single ToTW or Foremans item that will instantly make you gemp if you didn't get it..

3. It makes the dungeons lol. Need a CDR? Just get a 220 org mate when you're level 1, team up and go get it. No effort required.

Dungeons are a fun place to meet random people and by instancing it you take away from the experience.

SL dungeons can't really be compared to ToTW and Foremans, they all look pretty much the same and drop pretty much the same stuff.

CoH loot till 200? Exarch and Styg till 100? Wow..

By meeting other players? By interacting? By being a place with other people?

You do understand that socializing is a major part of any mmo? Right? If not you can just go play a single player game for your fun..

But considering most of your posts.. I would guess socializing ain't your most shining side.

I think I understand what you thinking.

For me AO gives many way to be social. I can just sit and talk rubbish with my friends, or I can do raids and teaming with friends or other.
You can also be social through Role Playing, and create a charcter with a background and a personality of your choise. And be social in character

This might was a bit off topic from your opening post.
About that. Hmm well.... I have never thought much about the level cap of dungeons and etc. I never been a hardcore player, and if dont get any from the places I growing out from. I just continue in my normal slow speed and think. Well well I didnt get it, what to do now :D

WoW has instanced dungeons and it has a lot of socialization.

Also instancing the dungeons can cause an end to trains. Particilly in totw.

Also who says not gettin styg will not get me shunned???

I know GTA's another story but I once teamed up with someone with an styg and I got an average weapon. he kicked me after he found out my weapon and called me a noob.

Also by instancing I mean instance them to 1-team(6-man) not a couple of ppl.

Almost no other MMORPG has lv locked dungeons. This isthe only one I could find with lv locks.....

P.S: Nowadays I have a styg but the reason I put this thread here was to say my opinons bout lv locks.

In the end..

You have more than enough levels to make sure you aren't able to enter the dungeon. If you can't be arsed to get em before you're locked out, it's your own damned fault.

By making the changes you propose you might as well just have a "/spawn Styg" instead since everyone can just poke a 220 to get em their styg/CDR/whatever. With level locks you still have to make a frelling effort to get the stuff.

I agree completly
Ao isn't a "click here to get stuff" game.
You have to work for it.
If they removed the level locks, I would simply team with my main and have all the stuff for my alts before they was level 10, and where is the fun in that?
