AO-Universe

Ok Ive tried four times now to install the game using the install program and the setup program aswell as a downloader such as netleach to install it but it never works. Ive also downloaded it from several diferent sites and still get the same thing. Im running xp sp2 with all my drivers updated and heres what I get when I try to do this.

Trying to install from the install program it gives me a message saying "Unable to find the <Copy file>" and then "Running the "setup.exe INSTALL" directly. If the setup program asks for Disk 1 during install of Disk 2 wait for the program to finish copying the files from Disk 2 before inserting disk1." Then it gives me a windows xp setup window with " Please go to the control panel to install and configure system conponents"

Trying to install from the setup program it gives me " Please run the file named "Install.exe"".

Ok so what am I missing here? I cant find any information on the AO website even with using the search tool so if anyone can offer some constructive non bashing / flaming advice it would be greatly appreciated.

I had to google to find information on this and have narrowed it down to needing to run the install from the command prompt, however I havent used the command prompt in 9 years so what exactly would I have to type if the folder is in my F drive?

F:\>AOInstall16.2.0.zip is where the folder is at now, closest I got was F:\>AOInstall16.2.0.zip\setup.exe install but all it did was open up the folder.

Ok I got it figured out, I copied the entire folder contents and moved it out into the drive and it worked fine.
