AO-Universe

I'm new to AO. When I first started playing, I would go adventuring and find lots of loot on nearly everything I killed. However, now, I seldom find any loot on my kills. Is there some stat I need to upgrade or something?

Most mobs you will find should drop something, it purely depends on where you are hunting, and what you are hunting!

For example, a random mob in the shadowlands might not really drop much at all - maybe a canister of notum or a piece of Jet. A unique NPC may drop their one special piece of loot, whereas a dyna boss on RK could drop 10 random pieces of loot that you can loot all at once.

Maybe if you could indicate where you are hunting and what you are killing someone will have either have had a similar experience, or we can advise you which direction to head in to yeild better results!!

If you have already found a better place to hunt by the time you read this post, maybe you could respond and let other new people have an idea of where it is fun to go to with their empty backpacks!!

Thanks! Most of my looting happens on missions right now. I guess I don't have much control over loot concentration on those. I'll keep the tip in mind though for when I do hunt, no specific places I know of yet.

Well missions are a great source of loot, especially if you can perhaps team with someone and then run a team mission on your own! Or well.. teaming with others is usually more fun - but not really the same opportunities there for grabbing all the loot!
