How do you get to Schoel?

AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

We're US, at LAFB, Virginia.

BTW, we Just finished the pocket boss. But my wife did NOT get credit for it, there was not extra stuff for her to loot to turn in, once turned in, she got no credit at any step. If you guys think tyhe whole team gets credit for the kill please explain how this occurs, because now I'm faced with trying to get the paper nanomage through it somehow all over again because she did NOT get credit..

Hi Ozzie,

I think when the guys were giving you advice on this there was a slight mix up between the progression of the quest with regards to garden and sanctuary for Scheol.

For the garden quest, to progress further every individual must create the pattern via the steps to get updates. Every individual must loot the item required to give back to the NPC and unfortunately with this shadowlands pocket boss, she tends to only drop 1 of each item.

In the Sanctuary quest however, although it is the same pocket boss and the same items drop, these are not required for the updates of the mission.

That being said, it still is irrelevant who spawns the Empath at the incarnator. This is not something that impacts on the mission you will have running in your mission tab.

Sorry that I am not on RK2 to help, although by the sounds of it you are quite a team between the both of you! Good luck getting your hands on the garden and sanctuary keys, they are really nice items to have and will make your game play much easier with travelling!!

Oh and if you havent already read through them, here are links for the the guides to the:

Roch Sanctuary Key

Sorry about the pissy tone of my last post. You guys have always been helpful no matter what stupid questions I arrive with, and I'm thankful your here.

Note to self : Do not post until rez effects are off.

We did get it, two n00bs stumbling all over each other and making every mistake that could probably be made. heh heh it took us five minutes to figure out how to use the darn 'incarnator'.

Thanks for your post UkBlizzard, if I had been thinking we would have done just that...I had all the ingredients to make another pocket boss on me at the time. I could have just summoned. That's an idea I'll hang on to if this situation presents itself again.

So, three deaths and one "I hate this stupid game!" from the Mrs, and wha-la : Garden Keys! I finally got my first dog nano and two crafting buff crystals though. /clap

Now lets read the next guide ,,,

I am sure noone took offence from the tone of your post, I certainly would have wanted some clarification if I was in your shoes too!

Gratz on finally getting your keys and good luck with your next venture!

Aaah, you need a dropped item to finish the quest, bummer, it's not like the other garden quests where you generally just need to be on the team to kill the thing, sorry.

It took me more than 5 mins to work out how to use my first incarnator, then I got totally wiped by the PB I spawned, 3 times before someone else came along & killed it for me lol.

I'll be on shortly, send a tell to Greasegirl, I may not answer straight away because I almost always dual log, but I'll get it eventually lol.

Yeah, this game is incredibly frustrating at times, it's complexity tho is the main reason I like it so much.

Thanks Snakebite :-) I like complexity to a point. there is a point where complexity stops being fun and challenging and turns into a timesink though. AO crosses that line a few times heh, but I'd rather error on THAT side of the line than the dumbed down current generation of online games like WoW and Eq2.

For example, last weekend I made 4 VTE's (Virral Triumvirate Egg) with my engineer. It took a while, and had to change two perks and build an implant set to do the crafting, and find a doctor to buff my treatment, but afterwards it just felt awesome to have made them. That's fun and challenging. But if I had to camp a mob that spawns once every 18 hours for a 10% chance of a drop to get a tool to make them, that is where AO sometimes veers off the road lol.

So after we get the next key (Schoel Sanctuary) this weekend, I'm guessing the next zone is ... Penumbra. Ops, I guess we should get spec 2 done first. OMG camping for these pages is tedious ,,,YUCK!

Heya Ozzie,

Huge gratz on making the VTEs.. now thats a long tradeskill process :)

The zone after Scheol is actually Adonis - but with regards to the specialisations, a lot of them can be quested for as well as traditionally camped for hours for. Check the Shadowlands guide pages Spec 2 can be quested for in Elysium, Spec 3 in Adonis, Spec 4 in Penumbra.

Ozzie... if you're going into scheol now... then do the Elysium guard/yutto quests.... you get all the chapters for spec 2. Then do the quests in scheol and Ado... you get spec 3 and a nifty profession specific brain symbiant...

Oh ,

I have been spending hours camping whites trying to get those pages to drop while there were quests. I read your posts and gasped. This was unfortunate for the diet pepsi currently in my mouth. For the record, the prefered chemical cleaning solution for a 22" Samsung Flatscreen is 50% isopropyl alcohol, 50% purified water and a lintless felt cloth.

In 15 minutes I had my missing page 3, specialization 2. 5 Minutes after that, I had my first dog mech up. It was really a nice moment. Thanks.

On a side note, there should be a sign at the entrance to the shadowlands. It should read "Warning : Stop. Look Around. Do not rush. It is not mandatory to bypass all content that is white to you, you may still enjoy and need it."

Nuh huh, the sign needs to read : Use the search function on AOU to check if there is an alternative method or something you missed.

heh I'm so used to web page search functions not working I forget to try new ones. Yes, that is probably a good idea. After finding such an obvious oversight I've been just trying to speed-read everything in the guide area to get a better overview of everything.
