AO is the main topic, but you can also talk about things like the latest console game you've played, web comics, movies, music, etc. as they pertain to your AO experience.

Is it possible to display loot to other org/team members i.e. putting it in chat, without actually looting it?

Yes, you just have to make references of each piece of loot.

To do that you need to
- hold right mouse button on item until you get the box pop up that says, "look at item, create reference, delete item" (right clicking items can mean you loot the item, so really hold it down, dont just click and let go)
- click create reference
- Press Ctrl 3, this opens your reference window
- then left click the reference and click it into your chat

Be aware, that unless you have complete confidence in yourself, that sometimes it is better to completely fill your inventory before you create a reference. Accidents CAN happen and will happen.. :)

Yes, accidental looting of nodrop items is always a possibility when creating references...

can't find it anymore and I cant check in game atm ... but isnt there a shortcut for references ?

like CTRL + G or something ?

so you just have to point and not click to create it ... hence, no fear of looting

According to the Keyboard Map, the shortcut is Alt-Left Click. :-P Not much more helpful, I'm afraid.

Just to reiterate on what Ukblizzard said, especially if you're handling NODROP loot in a raid, dungeon, or team, just fill up your inventory with crap Even if you're experienced at doing references and the like. I've lead over, oh, 120-150ish APF raids, and I still did it from time to time. Always good advice to just fill it up! :)
