reading news links?

I try to read them buy clicking on them, but nothing happens. It just sends a tell to the news source. I'm talking about the ingame news reports that pop up in the chat line.

It sounds like you don't have /tell messages turned on in your chat window(s)? Might be worth while checking that.

It seems to be working ok for me.

If the chat config isn't it, are you playing on Atlantean and have created the character within the last few months? Another possibility is that this is another instance of the dreaded "high character ID" bug. In that case, I'm afraid there's nothing that we can do to help you. You might try petitioning with ARK though, so that they can report the bug. Oh, or send an email from this webform:
