Re: 455 - De'Valos Protection Ring

How old is that item?
Depending on that and Demoders last item-DB update for AOU, it might not be in the database yet.

Re: AO-Universe login doesnt work with aoitems.com

I can see a valid SimpleID profile for your account exists.
I just confirmed the login process working with my own account.
Please make sure you follow the steps as described in the login page, including the "Allow OpenID" flag in your account and the re-entering of your password in "Edit Account".

Re: ClickSaver

Yes, I have also observed that your net was slowed down for two months because there are times that your site is not available. :) Actually the website has nothing to do with Silvana's downtime. The website is hosted in a german data center. If the website is unresponsive it either means the server...

Re: AO-Universe login doesnt work with aoitems.com

The SimpleID part that AOItems uses is managed by us. To use your AOU-Login you have to do the following: Login to AOU and access the User Control Panel. Go to the Profile Tab and scroll to the bottom where it says Allow OpenID. Make sure it is YES and submit. On the left side, click on Edit account...

Re: AO Froobs Down

They seem to have trouble with their server (maybe overloaded). With multiple requests i either get a 200 response with the page loading (very randomly) or a 200 but a white page (which might indicate a termination of PHP), a 500 (which indicates an internal server error, which might be anything). B...

Re: Guide URLs

Hi Trypha,

if you open a guide now you'll find a "Quicklink"-input now in the top left box. It gives you something like this:
http://www.ao-universe.com/guides/170

Also, as a sideproduct, linking to a guide without supplying the "mid"-variable is now optional, the resulting page looks the same.

Re: Waypoint to clipboard (links in guides)

Hi Bestbuy, thanks for your report. Depending on the browser there might be a gap between the text that makes the popup box appear and the box itself. If you go over that gap your focus is not on the text anymore and the popup disappears. I fixed it by moving the box closer to the text, so there sho...

Re: number the steps for guides

The ToC generation on the guides on the site automatically happens by reading the internal hyperlinks. A lot of guides use those already to create a sort of overview. You might want to take a look at it; numbering them would be a piece of cake. Look for the following bbcode: [goto=link]text[/goto] -...

Re: Mobile/Bot Parser

First, thanks for the parser output. We've cleaned up the list a bit and added it to our "to-do" list ;) The XML-parser is now updated as well. Changes include: - Added optional parameter "output" to parse in either BBCode or HTML - Added optional parameter "fullitem" to display item-ID, icon-ID and...

Re: Mobile/Bot Parser

How much work would it be to change the [item], [itemname], and [itemicon] tags to include the lowid, highid, imageid, and ql? Simply said: right now impossible, because we don't have these information in our database at all. So we can't parse it. All we have is the item id you get, plus the item n...

Re: Storyline & NPC Chit Chats.

Hi Melorick, we had a project a while ago that included transcripts of NPC chats, however we closed that project. I found the threads including all the NPC chats, there's quite a few. I moved them from our archives to a public viewable place, look on the main forums for "Archives" or go directly the...

I will not lie to you. They just ran away! Off to the next cookie store. So i went over there and had a little argument with them. They demanded different cookies, from a different table. They didn't like the current set, some crumbs trickled out of it, but their stomach felt empty. The leets, carry...

Re: AOU New Site Discussions

It seems like clicking "view comments" on the front page while not logged in brings you to the login page. This is very weird though, since people who are not logged in can read the news corner on the forums. Good spotting. That part is fixed on the news. Also fixed/improved: - broken thumbnail-ima...

Re: Mobile/Bot Parser

Hi enlo, and thanks for your feedback. Pseudo XML is a good word, i don't work with XML too much :) Just made my mind up about what structure would make sense and "most easy" to use afterwards. The folder list is something i just added because i thought it might be useful. The parent/offset tag was ...
