Re: Determining what loot-items are valuable

I would be careful on a site like that, as it is promotes gold and account sellers. It is also mostly for selling items for real cash and has nothing to do with the topic brought up here, which is determining the in-game value of items.

Re: New MP

Most of it would depend on if you have a free account, or a subscription account. There are some pretty big differences between having access to only the main game versus having access to expansion content.

Re: 255 - Mick 'Nugget' McMullet

Like most spawns, he tends to wander from his initial point. Unless something is stuck in place (like an inanimate object) the coordinates are a general starting point of where to look based on where he has been seen :)

Re: Issues with AOU Mod and 18.8.18

The 18.8.18 has indeed changed GUI elements, breaking any custom GUI. There are several contributors to this (most likely culprits are the new Item Shop, alterations to the functionality of Inspect, and changes for the upcoming Steam release). At the moment there is no time table on fixing this. The...

Re: 172 - Temple of Three Winds Loot Table

A lot of things have definitely changed over the years, making the value and/or setup viability of particular items very different from what they may have been in the past.

Always good to have people post info about which items they consider most worthwhile in a more recent environment.

Thanks!

Re: AOU Mod and 18.8.x

In the base install directory it's \Anarchy Online\Scripts\AOU_mod For the user folder, the naming is different for everyone, so it can be harder to figure out. But, using the settings button on the launcher, you should be able to change where it looks for the files without messing around in the App...

Re: AOU Mod and 18.8.x

Most of the problems with that are due to the folder structure being changed/moved. The best thing, when it is acting up, is to have the mod files in your install directory and also in the C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Funcom\Anarchy Online (there's more, but the naming is different for everyone) fold...

Re: Helpbot ... I'd like to help if possible.

The last I knew, Iriche was hosting HelpBot. This could have changed of course, but you can send a message via the official forum to check. I'd recommend that instead sending a message here.

I'm not seeing where in the guide it mentions a profession lock. If you could point it out for me, that would be great :)

Re: 108 - Comprehensive Shade Guide

If someone that plays a Shade and has some good in-depth knowledge could drop by and help us out with that, it would be amazing ;)

Shades tend to be one of the least, if not the least, played professions (due to froob or otherwise) so it can be a hard one to keep up to date information on.

Re: Help please.

They changed things September of last year to where AO uses the AppData folder. It caused more than a few issues, and while some had no problem with it, others still had to use the old folder. No clue why. Ended up with a lot of double installing of mods and such just to cover the bases.

It's a golden rule: Add a new thing, 10 old things break. Fix a bug, 50 new ones pop up. Given how the AO code has been described in the past, I think we're lucky it tends to only be minor stuff ;)

I wouldn't even know if I got a message there, sorry about that.

Our internet has been out for a bit over 2 months so I'm playing catchup big time

If you don't hear from me in the next week, message me on here or silvana@ao-universe.com to remind me.
