You'll have the same problem with almost any profession, at least with engineer all you really need is your two nano buffs to get a big bot on and your sorted, other professions you need to be running around looking for all sorts of professions to get equipment on to give you an easy ride. Once you...

I wouldn't bother with burst and fullauto, at least not until much higher, flingshot is ok to have (specially since old english co needs it and its a good pistol to have with tinker pistol) but not necessary to keep maxed Don't forget your damage is more or less all your bot, my engineer twink uses...

I've been keeping Fling Shot topped up. Was that a huge mistake? :s I've been looking at some other engineers' builds... seems like I shouldn't have been concentrating on that. I think I also screwed up by putting a bunch of points into burst and full auto... I thought the MTI b-94 would be good, bu...

Re: Getting started as an engineer

Your pets levels will start jumping lots once you start getting implants in (since your on atlantean and clan I can help you out with some start up imps and such if you want) once that starts happening you shouldn't have a problem with most normal mobs. Thanks very much man, offer is much appreciat...

Oh, nice. I didn't realize clusters were sold in trades department. TY!

Doesnt stop you selling it though, the Shopping channels can still be a good way to sell the more valuable loot to other players! EDIT : AO Froobs also has a buying and selling forum : http://www.aofroobs.com/forum/index.php Oh, nice, thanks. :) That'll help once I figure out what is worth what heh...

Oh, to answer above questions - I'm a fr00b. I have been told by others that I should play the game for quite a while before buying expansions, etc. So... that means I won't be able to access game features that allow me to put my loot up for "auction", I imagine, too... right?

Thanks very much for the advice! If it's big and scary enough, you can even send it into a room and then follow after it as soon as everything in the room is dead. No risk for you then! This seems to be the problem. Grinding credits is extremely slow, so I'm trying to skip a couple levels of bots......

Ah, hijacking my own thread: I'm attempting a mission, and I just saw "Mission chance of token reward upped to 75% due to your heroic effort."

What does this mean?

Ty!

Getting started as an engineer

In the process of getting used to the game a bit, I've rolled several classes and raised them through the newbie island to get a bit of a feel. I've decided I like the Engineer. Unfortunately, having a bit of trouble getting started with my Engineer. Primarily I'm having survivability troubles. I've...

Hey don't start off with too much information : ) All this talk about what breed and what prof just spoils the fun at the beginning. In my opinion it doesn't matter at all with what you start the game, since you will have several toons before long usually. Just go with what you feel like. Respectfu...

Again, TYVM! Quick question: I usually like tanking in group situations. Is the Enforcer the only valid tank class, or are there several valid tank classes like in WOW? (I tend to enjoy utility tanks such as WOW's Druid or EQ/VSoH's DK rather than straight bash em up standard "Warrior" classes. But ...
