The current issue seems to be caused when we ramped up the number of new machines supporting the dimensions (who would have though more processing power was a bad thing eh?) and that simply didn't show up in our scale testing when we tested the hardware.
Now, on the plus side the coders and the server team now believe they have located the problem in the network and are currently working on patching the relevant network drivers on the new machines so that we can be up as soon as possible.
The bad news is that will take a couple more hours, but I can assure you that we are all working as hard as we can to resolve this issue. |
| So what is the compensation to all the froob & non-froob (I have 2 all Expansions paid accounts, but nonetheless)? Assured reliability and communication in the next upgrade(s)? I don’t mean to burst your bubble, but why wasn’t this found prior to production release? _________________ Zarzum

I'm at work now 13:00GMT and won't be logging on until 22:00GMT. So I hope it's fixed by then.
Last night I loaded up HL2 and played an old save.
Mind if it was my Hover Bike that was delayed I may not be acting so calm |

Having problems with the game and cannot get a response from support. Trying to download 17.5 but do not see it posted as a download from anarchy-online.com. Anyone else having problems? I have sent an email to support@anarchy-online.com but did not get the auto response. Have the website or email addresses changes?
Help! |

You can find all of the patches here:
ftp://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/
EP1 is the patch you use for the large client
The other patch (without EP1) is for the small (froob) client _________________ "Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed." G.K.Chesterton

Ok Funcom, you brought AO to its knees and have kept it there. Now I see Age of Conan advertised as the next big thing. BIG SLAP in the FACE!! Based on your performance, this IS NOT an option as you Funcom have completely failed to hold your end of the bargain. I pay you and you provide functional service. Instead, I pay you and you take the money and provide 3rd rate service. Worst yet, because of your inability to provide service, the clients are denied any input directly to you in the very application sold to US! Planning? What’s that? >exactly Customer Service? What’s that > exactly Performance boasted? What’s that > exactly Help? What’s that > exactly That rattle in the night and waking to find your bank account at 0 balance> That's Funcom
Where is the Compensation we lost as investors? Age Of Conan? A free 2 week trial account invitation? NOT!
Bad business decisions Funcom.........
Are YOU Funcom using this to Promote Age of Conan? Force the AO community to Age of Conan? _________________ Zarzum

And we still see no resolve, just infinite loops. My final words on this subject to Funcom are: You blew it for profit gains from AO and Conan. Fix the issues you created and help us with what we have to endure. If I honestly though I could get my money back, I would. _________________ Zarzum
